張力儀是測量絲網受到拉力作用時其內部與固定絲網接觸體之間的相互牽引力大小的儀器。張力儀有機械式和電子式兩種，測量張力的單位用牛頓/厘米表示。張力也可以用相對數值來表示。厘米張力儀就是用相對數值表示張力的一種，是通過張力儀自身重量使絲網下沉的深度的數值(毫米)來計算，張力數值可從指示盤上直接得到，或者從控制盤上間接得到。張力儀有手工操作和機械操作兩種。張力儀是檢驗絲網印版質量的重要的檢測儀器。為保證得到制版要求的張力，在繃網過程中或繃網后都要使用張力儀測量。
